Because Savuti Camp falls outside the boundaries of Chobe Park, activities are not limited to the rules and regulations of Chobe. The camp also offers guided walks and night-drives. Game concentrations at Savuti camp are high. The area has good concentrations of Roan and Sable Antelope and Giraffe. All the predators occur in the area - Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Wild Dog. Savuti has already identified 40 different Lion along the channel around the camp.

The Chobe / Linyanti area is renowned for its dense African Elephant population and for some of the best Elephant viewing anywhere in Africa in the winter months. As the Savuti's waterhole will be the only supply of water for a large area, one of the highlights of Savuti Camp is the fantastic wildlife viewing from the camp, and from various hides in the area
