Muchenje has 11 twin-bedded thatched chalets, all with en-suite facilities. They are situated on the escarpment edge with their own balcony and sweeping views over the Caprivi. Each chalet is beautifully furnished and great care has been taken to create a true African 'ambience'.
The main lodge is the heart and soul of Muchenje. Guests can relax in the open-sided lounge and bar area and enjoy the wonderful homely atmosphere. There is also a look-out platform which overlooks a small waterhole which is frequented by game such as Sable.
The main lodge features a dining area, bar, reception, curio shop and library. The stunning swimming pool is built amongst natural rock formations, taking advantage of the African vista and providing a tranquil setting for guests to relax during the heat of the day.
Meals are something special with abundant spreads of tasty and comforting home style food with a couple of local specialties thrown in.
