Hidden from the world and situated just off the northwestern tip of Chief's Island, is the secret paradise of Mombo. Sometimes an island of its own, sometimes linked to Chiefs Island, the region is constantly modified by the ebb and flow of the Delta's waters. Little Mombo Camp is located deep within Moremi Game Reserve, beneath huge trees on the edge of a broad floodplain.

Little Mombo Camp has large concentrations of wildlife, especially all of the large predators, including Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. Because of its great wildlife, several award-winning wildlife documentaries have been filmed at Mombo. The excellent game at Mombo Camp has made this area Botswana's top wildlife documentary location. National Geographic, BBC and many others have been filming here. Access into this area is only by aircraft.
