A Splendid River Panorama
Duma Tau Camp is built under a shady grove of mangosteen trees, overlooking a large Hippo filled lagoon within the Linyanti waterway system. There are excellent grasslands and waterholes along the Savuti Channel and along the Linyanti.

Elephants
Elephants are voracious feeders which in a day consume up to 272 Kg of grass, tender shoots and bark from trees. An adult Elephant can drink up to 200 litres of water in a single session.

Hippopotamus
Hippos weigh from 1,600-3,200 kg (up to 3 tons) and it is amazing just how fast they can move, both in and out of the water. Their two essential requirements are water deep enough to submerge in and a good supply of grassland.
