Impalila Island is situated at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers and is the meeting place of 4 countries: Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. There is a thin strip of land known as the Caprivi Strip that separates the Zambezi and Chobe Rivers.
