They move in fairly big herds, always close to woodland or thicket, but never far from water.
Hippopotamus
Hippos weigh from 1,600-3,200 kg (up to 3 tons) and it is amazing just how fast they can move, both in and out of the water. The two essential requirements of a hippo is water deep enough to submerge in and a good supply of grassland nearby.
